VARIETY: Predominantly Merlot, with small percentages of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon

TERROIR: Lalande-de-Pomerol — gravel and clay soils over a subsoil of sand and iron-rich deposits; mild maritime influence moderates temperatures and enhances fruit ripeness.

VINIFICATION: Traditional fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats; native yeast use and gentle extraction to preserve fruit purity.

AGING: Aged 12–18 months in French oak barrels (portion new) to add structure and complexity.

TASTING NOTES: Aromas of black cherry, plum, and cassis with hints of graphite, cedar, and spice. Medium- to full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins, balanced acidity, and a smooth, lingering finish.
