Charles Joguet is a benchmark producer in Chinon, celebrated for elevating Cabernet Franc to a level of finesse and complexity once thought exclusive to Burgundy. Founded in the 1950s, the estate has long championed single-vineyard expressions, organic farming, and a cellar philosophy rooted in precision and restraint. ‘Les Varennes du Grand Clos’ is one of their most esteemed plots, producing wines of depth and age-worthy elegance.
