BLIND TASTING WORKSHOP! - OCTOBER 23RD
ON PRESALE - WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP ON NOV 20, 2025
Founded in 1512 and still family-run, Domaine Dupeuble lies in the southern Beaujolais near Le Breuil. Today, the estate is led by Ghislaine, Stéphane, and their daughter Ophélie Dupeuble, who continue a long-standing commitment to traditional farming and honest, terroir-driven winemaking. Imported by Kermit Lynch, Dupeuble’s Nouveau stands apart for its purity and integrity—a true expression of Beaujolais fruit made without shortcuts or additives.
- WINEMAKER: Ghislaine, Stéphane & Ophélie Dupeuble
- FARMING: Practicing organic; no herbicides or chemical fertilizers. Vineyard work is entirely manual, and harvest is done by hand with strict selection in the vineyard.
- VARIETY: 100% Gamay
- TERROIR: Estate vineyards in Le Breuil, southern Beaujolais. Soils are a mix of granite, clay, and limestone, with vines averaging 50 years old. The area’s rolling hills and temperate climate produce fruit that’s ripe yet balanced, naturally suited for the fresh, supple style of Nouveau.
- VINIFICATION: Grapes are harvested early and fermented by carbonic maceration with native yeasts in cement tanks. Fermentation is temperature-controlled to preserve aromatics and prevent over-extraction. No chaptalization, filtration, or fining is used, and sulfur is kept to an absolute minimum.
- AGING: Brief maturation in concrete before bottling in early November to capture the vibrancy of the new vintage.
- TASTING NOTES: Bursting with aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry, and fresh violets. On the palate, it’s juicy and lifted with silky tannins, bright acidity, and a pure, glou-glou energy that defines Beaujolais Nouveau at its best.
- FOOD PAIRINGS: Perfect with charcuterie, roast chicken, pâté, mushroom dishes, or served lightly chilled for festive gatherings.
