Domaine Jamet is a benchmark producer in Côte-Rôtie, revered for crafting wines that embody the elegance, complexity, and longevity of the region. Family-run since 1976, Jean-Paul Jamet and his family meticulously farm steep, terraced vineyards to showcase the finest expressions of Syrah.

- TERROIR: Côte-Rôtie’s steep slopes, with a mix of schist and granite soils, lend the wine its characteristic minerality and depth. The domaine sources fruit from more than 17 lieux-dits, creating a complex, layered blend.
- VINIFICATION: Traditional whole-cluster fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by aging in French oak barrels (20% new) for 22 months.
- AGING: 22 months in French oak barrels, with 20% new oak to enhance structure without overpowering the fruit.
- TASTING NOTES: Aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, and violets, layered with smoked meat, black pepper, and olive tapenade. Silky tannins and a long, savory finish highlight its refined structure.
