VARIETY: 65% Pinot Auxerrois, 20% Pinot Blanc, 15% Pinot Gris

TERROIR: Sourced primarily from granitic and limestone-clay soils around Katzenthal and surrounding communes; cool Alsatian climate with long ripening periods allows balance between ripe fruit and crisp acidity

VINIFICATION: Gentle whole-cluster pressing; fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and transparency of fruit

AGING: Aged on fine lees for 8–10 months in a combination of stainless steel and large neutral foudres to enhance texture without imparting oak flavor

TASTING NOTES: Subtle aromas of pear, yellow apple, and white flowers lead to a palate that is supple yet vibrant, with hints of almond and citrus zest. The finish is mineral and clean, highlighting the precision and depth characteristic of Meyer-Fonné’s style.
