A joyful, mountain-grown sparkling rosé made via méthode ancestrale—this is Bugey Cerdon at its best: delicate, dry-ish, and deeply refreshing, with a whisper of alpine funk.

  • VARIETIES: 80% Poulsard, 20% Gamay

  • TERROIR: From a steep six-hectare vineyard perched above the village of Gravelles in the Ain department, near La Croix de la Dent. Clay-limestone soils and high elevation contribute to the wine’s tension and lift.

  • VINIFICATION: Hand-harvested and whole-cluster pressed using a bladder press—only the heart of the juice is retained. Fermented via méthode ancestrale and aged 12 months on lees (well beyond the AOP minimum of 2 months), which builds texture and complexity. No sulfur is used at any stage. Always a single vintage, though labeled non-vintage.

  • AGING: 12 months on lees in bottle (ancestral method)

  • TASTING NOTES: Effervescent and lightly off-dry, with notes of wild strawberry, rhubarb, alpine herbs, and rose petals. Gentle bubbles, vibrant acidity, and a subtly creamy finish make this dangerously drinkable.
