At Domaine Hubert Meyer, winemaking is a family lineage stretching back to 1722 in the historic village of Blienschwiller. Hubert Meyer took the reins in 1976, and today the domaine is guided by his son Pierre, continuing a tradition rooted in precision, balance, and respect for terroir. Their wines are known for finesse and quiet power, expressing the granite-driven identity of their grand cru holdings with clarity and elegance.

VARIETY: 100% Pinot Gris

TERROIR: From the Winzenberg Grand Cru, planted on granite soils with south-east exposure. Vines average 25 years old, producing concentrated fruit marked by minerality and structural tension.

VINIFICATION: Manual harvest; slow pressing over 6 hours. Fermented with indigenous yeasts for 2 months in stainless steel tanks.

AGING: 6 months on fine lees in stainless steel. Residual sugar: 18 g/L.

TASTING NOTES: Elegant and medium-bodied, balancing granite-driven minerality with ripe pear and stone fruit aromas. The palate is silky and gently rounded, with a touch of sweetness lifted by fresh acidity, finishing clean and dry.
