- Variety: 100% Chardonnay
- Terroir: Malat’s vineyards are located on the right bank (south side) of the Danube. This decomposed soil is a loamy mixed of loess deposits and layers of conglomerate river alluvium positioned on gradual terraces fully exposed to the summer sun from morning to night.
- Vinification: Traditional Method. Grapes are handpicked. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tank, and bottles are manually riddled. Wine matures in bottle for 40 months before release.

- Citrus fruits, fresh hay. Rich in finesse, vibrant and dry.
Ninth-generation winegrower, Michael Malat took the lead from his father, Gerald, at their Kremstal winery that dates to 1722. Kremstal is a climatic tug-of-war between eastern Pannonian warm winds and cold northern and western winds, and home to diverse soils on large terraces.
