    Over 70-year-old vines grown on steep, schist-laced terraces in Vinhas da Pisca, Vale do Pinhão, and Ferrão—classic Douro subregions known for concentration and elegance

  • VINIFICATION
    Hand-harvested, fermented in traditional lagares with foot-treading. Wines are initially aged in large wood casks (“tonéis”) in the Douro, then transferred to Niepoort’s cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, where the final blend matures in old barrels until bottling

  • AGING
    Average of 10 years in barrel before bottling

    A textbook Tawny—silky and layered with notes of dried fig, caramelized nuts, burnt orange peel, and warm baking spices. There’s lift and freshness under the richness, with a long, nutty finish and just enough structure to hold its sweetness in balance.
