Dehours & Fils is a family-run grower estate based in Mareuil-le-Port in the Vallée de la Marne, now led by Jérôme Dehours. Known for their meticulous vineyard work and terroir-focused approach, the domaine highlights the diversity of soils and exposures through parcel selections and long lees aging. The “Terriscope” series is dedicated to exploring specific geological formations, with “Rive Droite” expressing the character of right-bank Marne vineyards through precision, depth, and mineral nuance.

  • WINEMAKER: Jérôme Dehours

  • FARMING: Sustainable

  • VARIETY: 100% Meunier

  • TERROIR: Sourced from right-bank (“Rive Droite”) vineyards in the Vallée de la Marne, defined by distinctive soils and mesoclimates that shape the wine’s structure and mineral profile.

  • VINIFICATION: Made of pure Meunier from Montigny-sous-Chatillon village, facing the village of Cerseuil. It is a blend of 90% of the 2020 harvest and 10% of 2019. Hand harvested. Aged in 100% stainless steel. Bottled in April 2021, the first disgorgment was done at the estate in April 2023, with a dosage of 1.1 gr/l (Extra Brut).

  • TASTING NOTES: Aromas of crisp orchard fruit, citrus peel, and subtle stone notes lead into a focused palate with fine mousse, balanced acidity, and a savory, mineral-driven finish. Structured yet energetic, with clarity and length. Rive Droite is a great expression of Meunier, vibrant, very well balanced, with a great vivacity.

  • FOOD PAIRINGS: Shellfish, smoked trout, roast chicken, mushroom dishes, or aged alpine cheese
