Inama, a family-owned winery established in the 1950s by Giuseppe Inama, is renowned for its dedication to producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique volcanic terroir of the Soave Classico region. Now managed by the third generation, the estate continues to uphold its founder's vision, crafting wines that embody both tradition and innovation.
- WINEMAKER: Stefano and Matteo Inama
- FARMING: Sustainable practices; no herbicides or pesticides used; emphasis on maintaining soil health and biodiversity.
- VARIETY: 100% Garganega
- TERROIR: Vineyards located in the Soave Classico area, characterized by basaltic-volcanic soils; southeast exposure at altitudes between 100-200 meters above sea level.
- VINIFICATION: Hand-harvested grapes; gentle pressing; fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and aromatic purity.
- AGING: Aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks for several months to enhance texture and complexity.
- TASTING NOTES: On the nose, the wine reveals the nectar of field flowers such as chamomile, elderflower, and iris. The palate is mineral-driven with flavors of green apple and lime, leading to a characteristic almond finish, typical of classic Garganega.
- FOOD PAIRINGS: Ideal with seafood dishes, light pastas, and grilled white meats; also pairs well with fresh cheeses and vegetarian cuisine.
