Pierre Gimonnet & Fils is a benchmark grower-producer in the Côte des Blancs, family-run for generations and today directed by Didier and Olivier Gimonnet. The estate farms predominantly old-vine Chardonnay across Premier and Grand Cru villages, crafting terroir-driven Champagnes celebrated for precision, chalky minerality, and longevity.

FARMING: Sustainable farming across old-vine Chardonnay parcels, many exceeding 30–100 years of age.

VARIETY: 100% Chardonnay (Blanc de Blancs)

TERROIR: Grand Cru vineyards in Cramant within the Côte des Blancs, rooted in chalk soils and including historic old-vine lieux-dits such as Le Fond du Bateau and Buissons, contributing roundness, salinity, and freshness.

VINIFICATION: Fermented in stainless steel with full malolactic fermentation prior to extended lees aging.

AGING: Over five years on the lees before disgorgement (summer 2023–February 2024) with approximately 3–4.5 g/L dosage.

TASTING NOTES: Focused citrus, lemon pith, green apple, and meringue unfold across a creamy yet finely structured palate, finishing with chalky minerality, sea-salt salinity, and persistent elegance.
