Weingut Tement is a benchmark estate in Austria’s Südsteiermark, long recognized for terroir-driven Sauvignon Blanc and now led by brothers Armin and Stefan Tement, who farm organically and biodynamically while continuing the visionary work begun by their father, Manfred.

TERROIR: Sourced from numerous parcels across Südsteiermark, where limestone and clay (“Kalk & Kreide”) soils and a cool, Mediterranean-influenced climate shape intensely mineral, terroir-focused wines.

VINIFICATION: Spontaneous fermentation with élevage in stainless steel and large neutral oak, minimal sulfur before bottling to preserve site expression and texture.

AGING: Matured in a combination of stainless steel and large oak vessels prior to bottling.

TASTING NOTES: Bright citrus, yellow orchard fruit, elderflower, and subtle black-currant tones layered over a saline, mineral backbone with herbaceous lift and vibrant freshness.
