Jean Foillard is a legendary figure in Beaujolais, known for his deep commitment to natural winemaking and for producing some of the region’s most elegant and soulful expressions of Gamay. Working in the spirit of the late Jules Chauvet, Foillard eschews chemical inputs in both vineyard and cellar, favoring organic farming and minimal intervention. ‘Cuvée Corcelette’ comes from high-elevation, sandy granite soils that yield a more floral, lifted style of Morgon, offering a striking contrast to the more structured Côte du Py.
