- WINEMAKER: Justine Osilla
- FARMING: Organic practices for Carignane; sustainably farmed Pinot Noir and St. Laurent
- VARIETY: 50% Carignane, 38% Pinot Noir (Pommard clone), 12% St. Laurent
-
TERROIR:
- Trimble Vineyard, Mendocino County: Gnarly, 65+ year-old, head-trained Carignane vines grown organically.

VINIFICATION:
- The Carignane underwent 100% whole-cluster carbonic fermentation in macro bins, with light foot treading to preserve berry integrity. Extended maceration for 2.5 weeks softened tannins.
- The Pinot Noir and St. Laurent were co-fermented with WS yeast, completed primary fermentation in stainless steel, and were aged in two-times-used François Frères barrels with native malolactic fermentation.
- Aged 8 months before bottling.
- AGING: 8 months in used French oak barrels
- TASTING NOTES: A chillable, vibrant red blend with notes of strawberry bubblegum, ripe cherries, violets, cassis, and a touch of black pepper.
- FOOD PAIRINGS: Perfect with Filipino barbecue, sweet spaghetti, lechon kawali (crispy pork belly), and kare-kare (peanut stew).
- ANALYSIS: Alcohol: 12.8% | Total Acidity: 6.2 g/L | Residual Sugar: Dry
- CASES PRODUCED: 75
This unique red blend, born out of a Thanksgiving dinner discussion, reflects the winemaker’s belief that each component brings out the best in one another, much like family. Chill it slightly and enjoy with your favorite dishes or on its own.
