Domaine Saumaize-Michelin, situated in the village of Vergisson, is renowned for producing expressive and terroir-driven wines in the Mâconnais region. Since 2005, the estate has practiced biodynamic viticulture, emphasizing the health of the vineyard's ecosystem to craft wines that authentically reflect their origin.

- VARIETY: 100% Chardonnay
- TERROIR: The Viré-Clessé appellation features a diverse mosaic of soils and rocks, with limestone and clay compositions that impart minerality and complexity to the wines.
- VINIFICATION: Hand-harvested grapes are gently pressed, followed by fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and purity.
- AGING: Aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks for approximately 10 months, enhancing texture and depth while maintaining vibrant acidity.
- TASTING NOTES: Aromas of white peach, citrus zest, and subtle floral notes lead to a palate that is crisp and mineral-driven, showcasing flavors of green apple and lemon with a refreshing, clean finish.
