The Trocard family has been running Château la Croix for 14 generations (1628). Known as a high-quality vineyard in the heart of Libournais, it encompasses Saint Emilion and Pomerol. Starting with just a few hectares in the XVII century, Jean Trocard's talented winemaking continued the tradition in 1945, followed by his son and daughter-in-law, Jean-Louis Trocard and Elizabeth Trocard-Decons, in 1976. Since then, the Trocard Vineyards have acquired an international stature with extension of the vineyard area from 20 to 90 hectares.
