• TERROIR: Sourced from a 35-acre plot in the eastern, flat part of the commune of Volnay, characterized by deep, clay-rich soils. The vines are meticulously tended to ensure low yields and high-quality fruit.
• VINIFICATION: Vinified with the same care as the domaine's Premier Cru wines, employing traditional fermentation methods to preserve the purity of fruit and expression of terroir. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to maintain freshness and varietal character.
• AGING: Aged in French oak barrels (a combination of new and used) for approximately 12 months, allowing for integration of flavors and development of complexity without imparting dominant oak characteristics.
• TASTING NOTES: Pale gold in color with a luminous clarity. The nose reveals aromas of white peach, citrus zest, and wet stone, intertwined with subtle floral notes.
