Grand Siècle is always a blend of three complementary vintages – one for structure, one for finesse and one for freshness. By blending these together, Laurent-Perrier is able to “create the perfect year” – one better than nature could ever provide.

• Grape Varieties: 60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir from Grand Cru sites
• Farming: Sustainable ( HVE Certified)
• Terroir: Crus: an assemblage from a selection of 9 of the 17 Grands Crus. Chardonnay from Avize, Cramant, Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Pinot Noir from Ambonnay, Bouzy, Verzy, Tours-sur-Marne, Mailly.
• Vinification: Vintages 2008, 2007, 2006. Reductive winemaking style, with stainless steel fermentation and base wine aging, avoiding light and oxygen at all costs. All LP champagnes undergo malolactic conversion.
• Dosage: 7g/L

The « Grand Siècle » (Great Century) is the name given to one of the most prosperous periods (17th century) in the history of France known for the capacity of man, through his works, to create what nature cannot. Louis XIVth, known as the « Sun King », by creating the « Château de Versailles » and its gardens, was the architect of this model of harmony, balance and perfection.
