Domaine Migot is a charming 5-hectare family estate nestled by the picturesque Moselle River in the Côtes du Toul, a petite yet historic 100-hectare appellation that finally earned its AOC status in 1998. Camile Migot, the 13th generation of his family to cultivate this storied land, debuted his first captivating vintage in 2013.
- Winemaker: Camille Migot
- Farming: Certified Organic
- Variety: 100% Gamay
- Terroir: Côtes de Toul, located southwest of Alsace, in the Lorraine. A small, cool climate appellation.
- Vinification: Hand-harvested, and all wines are fermented with native yeasts. Méthode Traditionnelle (wine undergoes a secondary fermentation inside the bottle, creating bubbles)
- Tasting Notes: crunchy red berries, fresh bread dough and candy apple, this sparkler is light and refreshing. The palate sings with notes of red currants, raspberries, apple skin, and toast. Savory, taut, and crisp, this is an excellent food-pairing wine for just about any cuisine.
