His Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo is a classic expression of this unique rosato style—crafted from Montepulciano with minimal intervention and naturally vibrant in both color and character. It’s a rosé with real presence, depth, and food-pairing versatility.

TERROIR: Grown on clay and chalky limestone soils in Abruzzo, just inland from the Adriatic Sea, with cooling maritime influence that preserves acidity and freshness.

VINIFICATION: Grapes are hand-harvested in small baskets in late September or early October. Depending on the vintage, grapes are either direct-pressed or undergo a brief maceration. Free-run juice is fermented with indigenous yeasts at cool temperatures. No fining or filtering; minimal sulfur.

AGING: Aged in stainless steel vats

TASTING NOTES: Deep ruby-pink in color with expressive aromas of wild berries, blood orange, sweet spice, and crushed herbs. The palate is saline and savory, with mouth-coating fruit, refreshing acidity, and a long, textured finish.
