Hidden in the hills of the Pyranees mountains in Rousillon in the south of France, Côtes Catalans in a sweeping vineyard region touching the border of Spain and the Mediterranean Coast. Olivier Pithon, a Loire native, moved to this rugged part of France in January 2001 to begin his life as a winegrower.

- Terroir: Calce is a unique place located between the Mediterranean Sea, the Pyrenees mountain range and the Corbieres mountain range. Situated at about 300 metres altitude, the vines are positioned on extremely an rich terroir. Marls, Schists and Limestone.
- Variety: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedré (equal parts)
- Vinification: Natural fermentation in concrete and steel.
- Tasting Note: Fruity and fun nose, easy-drinking with a dark, spiced finish.
This cuvée is the result of Olivier's partnership with half a dozen winemakers from neighboring villages who also practice organic agriculture or who are converting to organic. It is a wine to drink with friends, in the sun, while eating a pleasant meal. Fruit, roundness and pleasure. The simple pleasures of life like eating, drinking, and laughing best describe this P’tit Pithon.
