• FARMING: Sustainable practices with minimal intervention
• VARIETIES: 40% Aragonês (Tempranillo), 30% Alicante Bouschet, 20% Trincadeira, 10% Castelão
• TERROIR: Vines planted between 1979 and 1989 on rocky schist soils at elevations of 300–400 meters, benefiting from the Alentejo's Mediterranean climate
• VINIFICATION: Hand-sorted grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, followed by gravity-fed racking to stainless steel aging tanks
• AGING: Aged for 9 months in a combination of French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks
• TASTING NOTES: Deep ruby-violet hue with fresh and roasted red berry aromas, complemented by notes of toast, spicebox, and eucalyptus. The palate reveals flavors of black raspberries, anise, and a touch of char, supported by medium tannins and good acidity, leading to a satisfying finish.
