• VINEYARD: Kirschenmann Vineyard, located on the east side of Lodi's Mokelumne River AVA, was planted in 1915. The vines are head-trained, dry-farmed, and own-rooted, thriving in silica-rich, white sandy soils.
• VINIFICATION: Traditional winemaking techniques are employed, with fermentation in neutral vessels to preserve the varietal's character.
• AGING: The wine is aged in neutral French oak barrels to enhance complexity without imparting excessive oak flavors.

Succulent red cherry, cedar, pipe tobacco, incense and licorice build effortlessly in the glass. There's terrific textural resonance and creaminess to support years of fine drinking."
