Arpepe Valtellina Superiore Grumello 'Rocca de Piro' 2015 is a refined expression of Nebbiolo from the steep, terraced vineyards of Valtellina. This wine showcases the elegance and complexity that can be achieved in this alpine region, with a focus on freshness and structure.

• Winemaker: Isabella Pelizzatti Perego and Emanuele Pelizzatti Perego, continuing the family’s legacy of crafting traditional Nebbiolo wines.

• Terroir: Grown on steep south-facing slopes at 350-500 meters elevation in Grumello, where decomposed granite soils lend a distinctive minerality.
• Vinification: Extended maceration for 110 days in large oak casks, followed by aging in neutral 50hl casks for 18 months and 24 months in bottle.
