The Espinaler family started their long line of businesses in the late 1880s, with a small bar in Barcelona, serving wine and snacks. Eventually the Civil War in Spain caught up to them, and after it had passed, they were forced to reinvent themselves. In the 1950s, they introduced Espinaler Sauce to the market, a special blend of top quality vinegar, red pepper, black pepper and carefully selected spices, which with the years has made Espinaler Sauce known everywhere.

Meaty, moist, and magnificent, these hand-cut hunks of white tuna are an incredible value for the price and make the perfect headlining act for your next cheeseboard.

Live bait harvested using traditional pole-and-line methods, Espinaler’s bonito is processed fresh and cooked ever-so-delicately, with moisture and texture in mind. The result is a tuna product that is as reliable as it is delicious. Serve it alongside crackers, sharp cheese, dried fruits, and spicy pickles, or gently flake it with a dash of lemon and a kiss of mayo to create the tastiest tuna sandwich you’ve ever tried.
