Domaine Moreau-Naudet is highly regarded for its pure, mineral-driven Chablis, with a focus on organic farming and natural winemaking practices. 'Les Pargues' comes from an exceptional site that many believe should be classified as Premier Cru, located between the renowned vineyards of Vaillons and Montmains.
- WINEMAKER: Virginie Moreau.
- FARMING: Organic, emphasizing low yields from old vines to maximize concentration.
- VARIETY: 100% Chardonnay.
- TERROIR: Situated on stony, thin soils, the 'Les Pargues' vineyard is known for its intense minerality and unique character.
- VINIFICATION: Fermented with indigenous yeasts, aged on fine lees for added complexity, with minimal use of oak (around 10%).
- TASTING NOTES: A vibrant, layered wine with flavors of citrus, green apple, and wet stone. The finish is long, saline, and distinctly mineral.
