Molino Real has redefined what’s possible for Muscat in southern Spain. Known for elevating the region’s sweet wine heritage, they also produce this dry, mountain-grown white from old Moscatel de Alejandría vines planted high in the slate hills of the Sierras de Málaga. ‘Mountain Blanco’ is intensely aromatic yet bone dry, with structure, salinity, and age-worthiness that defy expectations. Grown in polyculture on steep slopes up to 1000 meters, this is Muscat with grip, tension, and staying power—closer in style to Grüner Veltliner than to its floral reputation.
