- WINEMAKER: Chris Miller, MS, a winemaker with a passion for crafting wines that reflect the cool-climate vineyards of the California coast.
- FARMING: Sustainable farming practices are employed at Olson Vineyard to promote biodiversity and soil health.
- VARIETY: 100% Chardonnay.
- TERROIR: Olson Vineyard is located in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA, benefiting from the cool, coastal breezes and alluvial soils that provide ideal conditions for growing balanced, complex Chardonnay.
- VINIFICATION: Hand-harvested grapes are gently pressed and fermented with native yeasts in neutral oak barrels, allowing the purity of the fruit to come through without heavy oak influence.
- AGING: Aged for 10 months in neutral French oak barrels, which enhances texture while maintaining fresh acidity and minerality.
- TASTING NOTES: Aromas of lemon zest, green apple, and wet stone lead into a palate of crisp citrus, white peach, and a hint of almond. Bright acidity and a mineral-driven finish make this a refreshing yet elegant Chardonnay.
